Job summary

Zohorecruit seeks an experienced Lead Site Architect to manage on-site architectural delivery for post-contract projects in the GCC. You will oversee architectural works, coordinate with contractors and consultants, and ensure the design intent is realized in construction.

Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years in architecture, 5+ years on-site in GCC, and a transferable iqama. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required, with LEED knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree a plus).
• Minimum of 10 years in architectural practice with 5+ years on-site post-contract in GCC.
• Site management experience on large-scale projects with contractor coordination.
• Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, construction techniques and local codes (Saudi Arabia).
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; MS Office for reporting and docs.
• Experience in hospitality, residential or commercial sectors; LEED knowledge.
• Transferable iqama is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural coordination and on-site supervision post-contract phase.
• Ensure architectural works meet original design intent and specs.
• Inspect and manage quality control per codes and standards.
• Resolve on-site issues with practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Serve as main liaison with clients, contractors and consultants.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate architectural elements.
• Ensure design integrity through construction and feedback to design.
• Review shop drawings and material samples for compliance.
• Ensure site safety and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare site progress reports for senior management and mentoring juniors.
