Job summary

Zohorecruit seeks an experienced Senior Site Architect to manage on-site architectural execution for high-profile projects in the GCC region. The role requires coordinating with contractors and consultants, ensuring design integrity, and delivering quality results throughout construction.

Qualifications

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Architect tojoin a dynamic award-winning multi-disciplined company in Saudi Arabia for apost-contract role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience inmanaging the site execution of architectural projects, ensuring that the designis implemented to the highest standards, and resolving any issues that ariseduring the construction phase. A transferable iqama is a must. You will beresponsible for overseeing the architectural aspects of the project on-site,working closely with contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure timely andquality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Coordination & Oversight: Lead the architecturalcoordination and supervision on-site during the post-contract phase. Ensurethat all architectural works align with the original design intent,specifications, and client requirements.
  
• Quality Assurance & Control: Conduct regular siteinspections and manage quality control processes to ensure that theconstruction is in accordance with the approved designs, drawings, and relevantcodes and standards.
  
• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any architecturalissues or discrepancies that arise during construction, ensuring that solutionsare practical, cost-effective, and in line with the project goals.
  
• Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primarypoint of contact for clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholdersregarding architectural matters. Provide regular updates on progress, issues,and solutions.
  
• Collaboration with Project Teams: Work closely with theproject manager, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamlessintegration of architectural elements with other aspects of the constructionprocess.
  
• Design Integrity: Ensure that the architectural designintent is maintained throughout the construction phase, providing feedback tothe design team as necessary to address site-specific challenges.
  
• Document Control: Review and approve shop drawings,material samples, and other construction documentation submitted bycontractors, ensuring compliance with the design and project requirements.
  
• Site Safety & Compliance: Ensure that the architecturalwork is executed following all safety regulations and complies with localbuilding codes and project specifications.
  
• Reporting: Prepare and submit regular site progress reportsto senior management, highlighting any challenges, deviations, and correctiveactions taken.
  
• Mentoring: Provide guidance and leadership to junior sitearchitects and site teams, ensuring that they adhere to best practices andmaintain high levels of professionalism and competence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree is aplus).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecturalpractice, with at least 2 years in a site-based post-contract role,specifically in the GCC region.
• Site Management Expertise: Proven experience in managingthe architectural aspects of large-scale construction projects, includingoversight of contractors and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of architecturaldrawings, construction techniques, and local building codes and regulations(specifically within Saudi Arabia).
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve site-specific challengesefficiently and effectively.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills in English. Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and coordinate a diverse siteteam and provide clear guidance to junior architects and contractors.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail,ensuring that the project is completed in accordance with design specificationsand quality standards.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD,Revit, or similar architectural software. Familiarity with MS Office forreporting and documentation.
• Experience in overseeing high-profileprojects in sectors such as hospitality, residential, or commercialarchitecture
