Job Description

Summary: Uses advanced skills gained through training and extensive on-the-job experience to ensure the quality of all products from HMH's Lifecycle Services. Provides technical assistance to clients and oversees field installations and repairs.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Acts as a lead, coordinating and checking the work of others without being a supervisor.
  2. Provides technical support, mentoring, and training for less experienced Service Engineers and external clients.
  3. Performs work in accordance with HMH Lifecycle Services and client safety policies.
  4. Provides installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair services in shop or field environments on HMH's Lifecycle Services equipment.
  5. Coordinates with the Operations/DLS Manager and Service Account Manager for onsite parts, materials, and support.
  6. Advises clients on modifications or upgrades to HMH's Lifecycle Services equipment.
  7. Supervises subcontracted personnel.
  8. Participates in workshop and overhaul activities, coordinating with the Overhaul Supervisor.
  9. Understands key business drivers and their impact on the team.
  10. Allocates work and guides team members on technical matters.
  11. Uses judgment based on experience to solve unique field problems.
  12. Prepares electrical spare parts lists for overhaul projects.
  13. Creates detailed inspection reports after damage assessments and is accountable for report inputs.
  14. Reports scope variations from standard overhaul procedures.
  15. Uploads reports, timesheets, CSFs, and expense reports to the job folder.
  16. Advises clients on modifications, bulletins, or upgrades.
  17. Impacts team effectiveness and related teams.
  18. Promotes health, safety, security, and environmental standards.
  19. Documents all services and actions performed.
  20. Stays updated on product and safety bulletins and drilling procedures.
  21. Supports company objectives and interacts professionally with customers and colleagues.
  22. Aligns activities with HMH Vision and Values.
Required Qualifications

Education: BS or higher in Electrical Engineering

Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant experience, including 2+ years in installation, factory training with Siemens & ABB software, troubleshooting, and programming. Proficient in electrical and hydraulic circuits, schematic reading, software updates, PLC operation, and repair of electrically operated oil drilling equipment.

Skills and Abilities: Technical expertise, effective communication, analytical and fault-finding skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, ability to work independently and in teams, organizational skills, cultural awareness, and accountability.
