Job summary

Excelsior is seeking a Security Systems Engineer in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The role involves routine maintenance, installation, and commissioning of high-end security hardware and software, with reporting to the line manager and on-site responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in security systems, strong communication skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD, networking, and troubleshooting. UAE driving license is essential. A firm auto is offered and location is Ras Al Khaimah.

Qualifications

You will be a knowledgeable and passionate team member.
5 or more years' work experience as a security system designer or related role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
Experience with security systems including antivirus, firewalls, authentication, and intrusion detection.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Proficient in remotely accessing client sites for first-line troubleshooting.
Proficient in AutoCAD or related drawing software (desirable).
Experience diagnosing network and software issues (desirable).
Valid UAE driving license is required.

Responsibilities

Routine maintenance and planned preventive maintenance as directed by the line supervisor.
Inspect and clean devices such as cameras, DVR/NVR, switches and PIDs per SOP.
Identify and repair faults found during maintenance visits when authorized.
Install and commission top-level security system hardware.
Commission and test security systems.
Setup and commission software and networking systems.
Report daily to the line manager.
Submit timely work records, costs and mileage sheets when asked.
Service setup and commissioning of special projects as assigned.
