Job summary

CPX is seeking a Senior Analyst for SOC Monitoring to lead security monitoring efforts, analyze diverse log sources, respond to incidents, and enhance the security operations program. You will work across CPX/Client technology, coordinating with stakeholders and improving defensive capabilities.

The role requires 6–8 years of security experience, strong analytical skills, and expertise with SIEMs, EDRs, and log analysis. A cross-functional, high-growth security team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Min 6-8 yrs. experience in security monitoring and SOC operations.
• Experience analyzing host-based and network-based security logs.
• Familiar with SIEMs (Splunk) and EDR tools; log correlation and incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Validate incidents escalated by Tier 1 SOC Analysts.
• Conduct threat analysis and correlate data across diverse datasets.
• Provide recommendations for incident handling and monitoring improvements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to validate network alerts and response actions.
• Analyze log files and network traffic to identify attackers and anomalies.
• Maintain and tune SIEM content, reports, and dashboards.
