Help AG is seeking a talented Senior Security Engineer (PaloAlto NGFW) to design, implement, and manage advanced security solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in network security, endpoint protection, and traffic management, with a proactive approach to cybersecurity threats.

As a Senior Security Engineer, you will work with cutting-edge technologies across security domains including Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs), firewall management, VPNs, endpoint security, and traffic systems. Your role involves safeguarding infrastructure and ensuring optimal security system performance.

Responsibilities

1. Act as SME for in-scope technologies for Help AG customers.
2. Design, deploy, operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot complex IP networks and security technologies.
3. Respond promptly to incidents, outages, and performance alerts.
4. Handle escalated incidents effectively.
5. Collaborate with support teams for problem resolution.
6. Support operational needs, ensuring minimal downtime for critical services.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Deep knowledge of complex IP networks.
• Minimum 8+ years in network / security engineering roles.
• Understanding of network security technologies, data center traffic, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with security controls such as :
