Job summary

KAST is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen security across our platform, infrastructure, and development environments in Dubai. This hands-on role focuses on building and improving security capabilities across cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and detection systems.

You will work with product and platform teams, apply security generalist skills across multiple domains, and drive practical controls while partnering with engineering to embed security into workflows as the organization

Qualifications

• Hands-on security experience across infra, cloud, DevOps or platform environments.
• Experience in detection engineering, threat hunting, cloud security, DevSecOps, and software supply chain security.
• Able to operate across multiple security domains and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve detection capabilities (SIEM, EDR, logging, alerting).
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and investigate security incidents.
• Improve security across cloud infrastructure and DevOps environments.
• Strengthen DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline security.
• Improve software supply chain security (dependency scanning, container security).
• Design and implement practical security controls across systems and infrastructure.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed security practices into development and operational workflows.
• Contribute to the evolution of security capabilities as the organisation grows.
