Job summary

Ekaa Technology in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to embed security across the software delivery lifecycle. You will secure cloud environments, containers, and CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with DevOps, infrastructure, and cloud teams to implement best practices.

The role emphasizes hands-on security testing, IaC governance, and automation to reduce risk and accelerate secure deployments in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 6+ years in DevSecOps or cloud security roles.
• Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Knowledge of IaC security and container security best practices.
• Experience with SAST/DAST and software supply chain security.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or Go for automation.

Responsibilities

• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform secure code reviews and automate security testing.
• Implement and manage SAST, DAST, and SCA solutions.
• Monitor infrastructure and applications for vulnerabilities, threats, and compliance violations.
• Secure cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and enhance IaC security standards and governance.
• Implement container security best practices for Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure secure software delivery.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation activities.
• Support incident response, security monitoring, and risk management initiatives.
• Develop automation scripts and security workflows to improve efficiency.
• Maintain security documentation and implementation procedures.
