Job summary

Help AG is seeking a Senior Security Consultant specializing in Fortinet solutions to lead post-sales professional services and, when needed, assist pre-sales. The role centers on designing, implementing, migrating, integrating, and optimizing Fortinet environments for large enterprises.

You will drive technical delivery, knowledge transfer, and project documentation while mentoring other engineers and ensuring high customer satisfaction. A hybrid work model is supported in the UAE.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or related technologies.
• 5+ years of hands-on Fortinet implementations.
• NSE7 certification or similar is highly preferred.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise Fortinet Professional Services projects.
• Strong hands-on Fortinet technologies including FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, SD-WAN, and FortiSASE.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Fortinet SME for Help AG customers and lead large Fortinet Professional Services implementations.
• Architect, design, implement, migrate, integrate, and optimize Fortinet solutions.
• Lead FortiGate firewall implementations, migrations, and FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer deployments.

Job description

Help AG is looking for a talented & experienced Senior Security Consultant position whose primarily focused on post-sales professional services activities, with additional involvement in pre-sales activities when required.

Post-sales activities include solution validation, low-level design, implementation and integration, migration planning and execution, configuration review, troubleshooting, optimization, documentation, knowledge transfer, and technical leadership.

Pre-sales activities may include solution presentations, technical workshops, proof of concepts, effort estimation, technical scoping, and support in developing Statements of Work.

The role requires strong hands-on experience in designing, implementing, migrating, integrating, optimizing, and troubleshooting Fortinet security solutions in large and complex enterprise environments.

The primary objective of the role is to ensure customer satisfaction, technical excellence, professional delivery, accurate documentation, and high-quality project execution.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Fortinet Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Help AG customers.
• Lead large and complex Fortinet Professional Services implementations.
• Architect, design, implement, migrate, integrate, and optimize Fortinet solutions.
• Lead FortiGate firewall implementations and migrations in enterprise environments.
• Implement and integrate FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.
• Design and implement Fortinet Secure SD-WAN solutions.
• Implement and support FortiSASE deployments.
• Deliver projects involving FortiWeb, FortiADC, FortiAuthenticator, FortiMail, FortiSandbox, FortiAppSec, and other Fortinet technologies based on project requirements.
• Conduct technical workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with customers.
• Assess existing customer environments and identify technical gaps, dependencies, and risks.
• Develop solution designs and implementation approaches.
• Develop and execute migration and rollout strategies.
• Develop implementation plans, migration plans, test plans, rollback plans, and MOPs.
• Troubleshoot complex network, security, routing, authentication, and application-related issues.
• Lead technical workshops with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to other Help AG engineers.
• Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions for internal teams and customers.
• Develop HLDs, LLDs, as-built documents, migration documents, implementation runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation.
• Support pre-sales teams with technical solution design when required.
• Support the preparation and validation of project Statements of Work and Professional Services effort estimates.
• Lead and deliver customer Proof of Concepts where required.
• Proactively identify project risks and dependencies and accelerate them early.
• Coordinate with customer, PM, Solution Architect, vendor, and internal technical teams throughout project delivery.
• Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and technical delivery quality.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 7+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Network Security, or related technologies.

Minimum 5+ years of strong hands-on implementation experience with Fortinet technologies.

Relevant Fortinet certifications such as NSE7 are highly preferred.

Proven experience delivering enterprise Fortinet Professional Services projects, rather than primarily operational or support activities.

Strong hands-on implementation experience with FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, SD-WAN, and FortiSASE.

Experience implementing FortiSASE solutions in enterprise environments is highly preferred.

Hands-on implementation experience with additional Fortinet technologies such as FortiWeb, FortiADC, FortiAuthenticator, FortiMail, FortiSandbox, FortiAppSec, and other Fortinet Security Fabric solutions.

Experience with large-scale firewall migrations from other vendors to Fortinet is highly preferred.

Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple sites, data centers, cloud environments, and critical applications.

Strong hands-on expertise with FortiGate, including NGFW configuration, HA clustering, security policies, NAT, IPsec and SSL VPN, security profiles, Application Control, Web

Filtering, IPS, Anti-Malware, SSL Inspection, and network segmentation.

Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, proxy technologies, firewalls, and SSL/TLS.

Good understanding of enterprise identity technologies, including Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, RADIUS, SAML, SSO, and MFA.

Experience working with AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments is preferred.

Experience with other cybersecurity technologies such as Palo Alto, F5, Zscaler, Cisco, Netskope, Check Point, or similar solutions is an advantage.

Strong experience with change management, migration planning, implementation windows, rollback planning, and troubleshooting.

Strong troubleshooting skills across network, firewall, routing, authentication, application, and security layers.

Ability to develop and review HLDs, LLDs, migration plans, implementation plans, Methods of Procedure (MOPs), test plans, rollback plans, SOPs, and runbooks.

Proven ability to independently lead complex Fortinet implementation projects from design through production rollout and handover.

Experience interacting directly with customer stakeholders, network/security teams, application teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and project managers.

Ability to independently lead complex enterprise Fortinet implementation and migration projects.

Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and management stakeholders.

Ability to work effectively under pressure during production migrations and incidents.

Ability to manage multiple teams and technical dependencies.

Strong documentation and presentation skills.

Ability to independently manage technical workstreams.

Strong ownership and accountability.

Ability to mentor and guide other engineers.

Excellent written and spoken English. Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.
