Job summary

Azizi Developments in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA FI-CO Functional Consultant to lead the finance and controlling scope across GL, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, CO cost centres and more.

You will map business requirements, conduct fit-gap workshops, and design and test system changes, while supporting upgrades, ensuring VAT compliance and guiding junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred; SAP S/4HANA certification is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of SAP FI-CO experience; strong consulting background.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, rollout and support of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling.
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and document needs.
• Facilitate fit-gap workshops and prepare business blueprint documents.

Job description

We are hiring Senior SAP S/4 HANA FI-CO Functional Consultant Azizi Developments is a leading UAE-based private real estate developer with a growing portfolio of landmark residential and mixed-use developments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation, rollout and support of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling – General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre and Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis and month-end/year-end close.
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements.
• Facilitate fit-gap workshops with business users and process owners to gather requirements and prepare business blueprint documents.
• Map business requirements, processes and objectives, and develop the system changes needed to meet them.
• Design, configure, customize and test FI-CO solutions, including unit, integration and user acceptance testing.
• Identify gaps and issues and propose workaround solutions.
• Provide production support: investigate, analyze and resolve incidents and change requests within agreed service levels.
• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments, plus test cases and results.
• Support S/4HANA upgrades, migrations including RISE with SAP and rollouts for new legal entities, as well as ongoing support.
• Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
• Prepare training materials and standard operating procedures, and deliver end-user training.
• Work independently and mentor junior team members.
• Manage Treasury, Funds Management and Group Reporting including inter-company matching and reconciliation.
• Manage interfaces with banks and third-party systems, and resolve interface errors.
• Ensure SAP remains compliant with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
• Support internal and external audits with reports and reconcilable data.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree in Finance or professional accounting qualification preferred.
• Certifications: SAP S/4HANA
