Job summary

Techmax Technologies in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant to lead finance transformation projects. You will configure and validate Finance solutions, support end-to-end delivery, and review designs to ensure quality and alignment with business requirements.

The role requires hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance configuration, experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition preferred, and on-site work in Abu Dhabi for a one-year project with potential extension.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant to support enterprise finance transformation and implementation projects. The consultant will configure and validate Finance solutions, support end-to-end implementation delivery, and review solution designs and implementation deliverables to ensure quality and alignment with business requirements.

The role will involve close collaboration with Finance process owners, IT teams, and implementation partners to ensure that SAP solutions align with standard functionality, business policies, internal controls, and operational requirements. The consultant will facilitate functional decisions, document agreed solutions, resolve implementation issues, and support the project from discovery through go-live and stabilization.

Key Accountabilities

1. Hands-on Solution Delivery

• Participate in Finance discovery sessions, fit-to-standard workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design.
• Perform hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance configuration and validate solutions against approved business requirements.
• Support test preparation, defect resolution, data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Independently investigate functional issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions.

2. Solution Design and Quality Assurance

• Review and validate proposed Finance processes, configuration, functional specifications, integrations, and implementation deliverables.
• Identify gaps, incorrect configurations, and deviations from SAP standard functionality and agreed requirements.
• Recommend corrective actions and ensure solutions follow SAP best practices and business requirements.
• Support design review forums and contribute to functional solution decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant SAP Finance experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance configuration and implementation.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• One-year project-based assignment, extendable subject to project requirements.
