Role Summary

This senior role involves driving new business sales within the Financial Services sector, focusing on Payment Solutions across the MEA region. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing strategic account plans, and expanding the company's presence through tailored sales strategies aligned with regional growth objectives.

About the Company

The client is a global leader in FinTech, providing innovative banking and payment solutions to local and multinational financial institutions. Their offerings include modular, integrated software solutions across all banking and financial services areas. They are currently leading in FinTech Banking Solutions and rapidly advancing towards the top spot in the global Payments landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify and close sales opportunities through networking and engagement with prospects for Payment Solutions.
  2. Establish and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers in banks and financial institutions across the MEA region.
  3. Achieve sales objectives by selling Payments software and related services.
  4. Build and maintain long-term relationships within the banking sector and with regulators.
  5. Develop insights and strategies for successful sales campaigns in competitive bid scenarios.
  6. Expand the client base within the banking and financial services sector.
  7. Identify market opportunities to build a strong sales pipeline and meet annual targets.
  8. Provide accurate sales forecasts for various cycles.
  9. Participate in regional and global sales reporting and pipeline management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  1. Proven ability as a hunter and closer.
  2. Strong experience in enterprise payments software sales, including Card Management, Issuance, Payment Gateways, and Switches within the MEA region.
  3. Track record of successfully closing payment solutions sales.
  4. Deep knowledge and network within the MEA banking and financial sector, including regulatory bodies.
  5. Strong business acumen in payment solutions.
  6. Ability to manage complex sales processes and strategic accounts.
  7. Experience in senior-level sales, building executive relationships, and opportunity planning.
  8. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  9. Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  10. Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are strongly preferred.
  11. Willingness to travel as needed.
