Job Description
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase business from MICE and Corporate segments, focusing on social eventsand group bookings.
- Identify and target new business opportunities through market research, networking, and sales calls to build a robust client base.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, event planners, travel agencies, and other stakeholders to secure repeat business.
- Engage with clients to understand their event requirements, including corporate events, weddings, and group activities, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Conduct site inspections, presentations, and negotiations to convert leads into confirmed bookings.
- Manage client accounts, ensuring regular communication, and providing solutions to their event needs.
- Collaborate closely with the event planning and operations team to ensure seamless execution of MICE, corporate, and wedding events.
- Work with the culinary, banquet, and service teams to customize packages for weddings and events, focusing on client preferences, including cultural or theme-based requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers, decorators, and other vendors to ensure all aspects of events are executed to the highest standards.
- Develop strategies to maximize revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and optimizing event packages.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans to achieve set revenue targets.
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote MICE and corporate packages through various channels, including digital marketing, trade shows, and client events.
- Collaborate with other departments, including front office, reservations, and F&B, to ensure exceptional guest experiences from booking to event completion.
- Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in developing promotional campaigns and sales incentives to drive business.

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in hotel sales, with a strong focus on the Groups and MICE segmentProven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive marketExceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skillsStrong leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teamsProficiency in CRM software and revenue management techniquesStrategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to forecast and plan effectivelyIn-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, particularly in the Groups and MICE segmentThorough understanding of market trends and the competitive landscape in Dubai and the UAEExperience in managing key accounts and developing new business opportunitiesAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholdersExcellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyFluency in English; additional languages are a plusIndustry certifications such as CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) or MICE certification are preferredWillingness to work flexible hours and travel as required
