Job description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in tyre sales, with expertise in OTR (Off-The-Road), PCR (Passenger Car Radial), TBR (Truck & Bus Radial), and Fleet Sales. This role requires excellent relationship-building skills, a strong understanding of the tyre industry, and a passion for driving sales growth in a competitive market.

The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales, identifying new business opportunities, and managing key client relationships within the tyre sector. This position requires an individual who can work independently and collaboratively to meet company targets and enhance brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:Drive sales growth in the OTR, PCR, TBR, and Fleet Sales sectors.
    Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
    Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and partners.
    Provide customers with professional advice on product selection and service offerings.
    Develop and present customized proposals for fleet solutions, tailored to customer needs.
  • Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet managers, purchasing departments, distributors, and retailers.
    Regularly meet with clients to understand their needs and ensure high customer satisfaction.
    Act as a key point of contact for all tyre-related inquiries from customers.
    Respond promptly to customer concerns, resolving issues and complaints with professionalism.
  • Sales Targets & Reporting:Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for OTR, PCR, TBR, and Fleet Sales.
    Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
    Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager regarding opportunities, forecasts, and progress.
  • Product Knowledge & Training:Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends, technologies, and products in the tyre industry.
    Train and mentor junior sales executives and support staff on tyre product features and selling techniques.
  • Marketing & Promotional Activities:Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns.
    Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer events.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience:Minimum of 5+ years of experience in tyre sales, with a focus on OTR, PCR, TBR, and Fleet sales.
    Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving growth within the tyre industry.
  • Knowledge:Strong understanding of tyre specifications, pricing, and market trends.
    In-depth knowledge of the fleet and commercial vehicle industry.
    Understanding of the competitive landscape in the tyre market.
  • Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
    Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
    Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach to sales.
    Ability to manage multiple projects and customer accounts simultaneously.
  • Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend trade events.
  • Knowledge of the local tyre market, distribution networks, and business regulations.
