The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for acquiring and managing small-to-medium business (SMB) clients through direct, door-to-door sales efforts. This role involves generating leads, closing sales, and building strong customer relationships to drive revenue growth in the telecom sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
§ Identify and target SMB customers for telecom services through door-to-door sales.
§ Present and promote telecom products and services, in selling GSM connections (Postpaid, Fiber, and Business On).
§ Conduct product demonstrations and explain features, benefits, and pricing to potential customers.
Lead Generation & Pipeline Management:
§ Prospect new business opportunities and maintain a steady pipeline of potential clients.
§ Follow up with leads, schedule appointments, and conduct face-to-face meetings.
§ Utilize CRM tools to track sales progress and update customer information.
Customer Relationship Management:
§ Build and maintain strong relationships with SMB customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
§ Provide after-sales support, handle customer inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
§ Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
§ Stay updated on telecom industry trends, competitive offerings, and market conditions.
§ Gather customer feedback and provide insights to improve sales strategies.
Collaboration & Reporting:
§ Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and technical support.
§ Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Education & Experience:
§ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
§ 3+ years of B2B or SMB sales experience, preferably in telecom or related industries.
§ Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
§ Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
§ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
§ Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
§ Ability to handle rejection and maintain persistence in sales efforts.
