Job Description

Responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities for the company's facilities management and retrofit business. Execute strategies to expand the company's client base, increase revenue, and strengthen its market presence in the industry.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Analyze competitor strategies & activities and market dynamics to develop a competitive edge.

Business & Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and create action plans for key growth areas, target markets, and potential clients for the company's facilities management services.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve revenue goals.
  • Set and monitor sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Suggest upgrades or added services that may be of interest to clients.

Lead Generation:

  • Generate and qualify leads through various methods, including cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and leveraging online platforms.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Qualify leads to ensure they align with the company's target client profile.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Initiating the prequalification process with new Clients
  • Keeping track of the PQ / Registration to follow up and update on frequent basis
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients through regular communication and meetings.
  • Understand client needs, challenges, and goals to tailor solutions and proposals effectively.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.

Proposal Development:

  • Collaborate with the Sales & Operations teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to existing and prospective clients.

Negotiation and Contract Management:

  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure new business deals.
  • Close sales and ensure that all necessary documentation is in order.
  • Work closely with the Sales & Estimation team to support business development efforts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the successful execution of contracts and projects.

Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Maintain accurate records of business development activities, including leads, prospects, and client interactions.
  • Provide regular reports and forecasts to management on sales performance and opportunities.

Networking & Industry Knowledge:

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to establish and expand the company's network.
  • Foster partnerships and collaborations with other businesses in related industries.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and emerging technologies related to Facilities Management and Retrofit.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor/ Diploma (preferably in Engineering).
  • Graduates with minimum 3 years’ of relevant experience and having exposure to Abu Dhabi region.
  • Language – English (advanced) and other languages impacting the business is an advantage.
