A.Purpose and Scope

To drive sales and business development of air conditioning systems including VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow), DX (Direct Expansion) units, Package Units, FAHU (Fresh Air Handling Units), and FCU (Fan Coil Units). The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and providing technical support to ensure successful project execution and revenue growth.

B.Responsibilities and Duties

  • Drive business development initiatives and execute sales and marketing activities across the UAE to generate new business opportunities.
  • Identify and acquire new clients while strengthening relationships with existing customers to expand the sales territory.
  • Apply in-depth technical knowledge of VRF, DX, Package Units, FAHU, and FCU systems to support design, selection, and installation.
  • Provide technical consultation and support to clients, contractors, and internal sales teams to ensure optimal system configuration and implementation.
  • Conduct technical presentations based on client requirements, emphasizing product features, advantages, and applications.
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients and contractors to secure favorable terms and close orders successfully.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with consultants, contractors, and key decision-makers.
  • Monitor competitor products and market trends and deliver actionable insights and feedback to support product development.
  • Implement structured sales processes to maximize revenue generation and enhance market penetration.
  • Manage complete sales cycles independently, demonstrating strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Collaborate with clients to design cost-effective and value-engineered HVAC solutions that increase project win probability.
  • Conduct regular site visits and maintain proactive communication with clients, consultants, and contractors to generate leads and meet sales targets.
  • Ensure timely and effective follow-up on sales inquiries by providing necessary technical and commercial support.
  • Maintain a comprehensive inquiry database and ensure a strong pipeline of active and upcoming projects.
  • Strategically plan and prioritize sales activities in alignment with business targets and growth objectives.

General

  • Recommend improvements to departmental policy and implement procedures and controls covering all areas of Greenland Equipment Project Sales, so that all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, cost effective service to customers.
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant QHSE procedures and controls across Greenland Equipment Project Sales Function to guarantee employee safety, health, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products / service and a responsible environmental attitude.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

D. Job Specifications

1.Qualification, Knowledge, Experience

a)Academic Qualification and Professional Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Additional certifications in HVAC, refrigeration systems, or related technical training will be an added advantage.

b)Experience (minimum preferred)

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in HVAC sales, specifically in VRF, DX systems, Package Units, FAHU, and FCU.
  • UAE market experience with strong consultant and contractor network is highly preferred.

2.Technical Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of VRF, DX systems, Package Units, FAHU, and FCU.
  • Proficient in HVAC design, system selection, and load calculations.
  • Skilled in preparing technical proposals.
  • Ability to conduct technical presentations and resolve system issues.
