Job description

What you will do

The Senior Sales Engineer Controls Systems is a key role reporting directly to the Sales Manager Controls.

You will be based in Dubai, focusing on bringing in business through AMC contracts, pull-through & retrofit jobs, and control optimization and digital solution selling to drive the growth of the Service Department for Building Technology and Solutions, with particular focus on Controls & Digital solutions.

As a member of a self-driven team, you will work in an environment that provides a platform and resources for you to learn and utilize your experience to generate new business.

How you will do it

As a Senior Sales Engineer:

  • You will have an understanding and knowledge of our product portfolio among BMS solutions and will work closely with customers to meet their expectations and close new opportunities.
  • You will qualify and collaborate with our internal presales team to develop the right technocommercial solutions for projects.
  • You will prepare technical and commercial proposals for customers and direct tenders.
  • You will demonstrate expertise by differentiating Johnson Controls through your market understanding, sales strategies, products, and services.
  • You will develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and identify ways to anticipate their needs.
  • You are determined and consistent, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment through effective planning and time management.
  • You will conduct extensive stakeholder mapping for strategic accounts to enable business growth within JCI's installed base and expand our presence in these accounts.
  • You will adhere to company processes, compliance, and policies with zero tolerance while executing your responsibilities.

What we look for

Required

  • 15+ years of experience in selling maintenance & service contracts, replacement/upgrade projects focused on Controls business within the UAE region.
