What you will do

The Senior Sales Engineer – Controls Systems is a key role reporting directly to the Sales Manager - Controls.

The role emphasizes bringing in business through AMC contracts, pull-through & retrofit jobs, control optimization, and digital solution selling to drive the growth of the Service Department for Building Technology and Solutions, with particular focus on Controls & Digital solutions.

As a member of a self-driven team, you will work within an environment that provides a platform and resources for you to learn and utilize your experience to generate new business.

How you will do it

As a Senior Sales Engineer :

  • You will have an understanding and knowledge of our product portfolio among BMS solutions and work closely with customers to meet their expectations and close new opportunities.
  • You will qualify and collaborate with internal pre-sales teams to develop the right techno-commercial solutions for projects.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals for customers and direct tenders.
  • Demonstrate expertise by differentiating Johnson Controls, leveraging your market understanding, sales strategies, products, and services.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and identify ways to anticipate their needs.
  • Be determined and consistent in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with effective planning and time management skills.
  • Conduct extensive stakeholder mapping for strategic accounts to enable business growth within the JCI installed base and expand presence in these accounts.
  • Adhere to company processes, policies, and compliance standards with professionalism.

What we look for

Required

  • University Degree – bachelor’s in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 5-7 years of experience in selling maintenance & service contracts, replacement/upgrade projects focused on Controls business within the UAE region.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, mature, and with high team spirit to succeed in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Valid UAE Driving License.
