About the team
You will be part of a dynamic, autonomous team of Careem veterans and new members, all aligned on values of ownership, ambition, and service to customers, partners, colleagues, and captains.
What you'll do
- Field Sales: Identify, target, pitch, and close deals with restaurant/food outlet partners to onboard them to Careem Food Delivery. This includes large food chains, medium, and small outlets.
- Identify high-potential geographic clusters with dense restaurants, diverse cuisines, and suitable customer profiles for Food Delivery.
- Onboard partners from other platforms and go beyond to build a competitive edge by targeting and closing long-tail outlets, using a cluster-by-cluster approach.
- Negotiate and close deals involving commercials, exclusivity, and consumer deals and offers.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and similar tools.
- Passion for improving lives, excellence, customer service, and alignment with core values: being bold, focused, agile, and collaborative.
- Proven experience in acquisition, direct and channel sales, with a record of closing deals.
- Motivated with a hunting spirit to develop new opportunities within the Food/Service Providers space.
- Strong team collaboration skills across local, regional, and corporate teams.
- Excellent communication skills and market trend awareness.
- Can-do attitude, creative thinking, and a focus on building a business pipeline.
- Analytical mindset.
- 1-2 years of experience in field sales or business development with consistent target achievement.
- Ability to work under pressure with limited resources, offering tech-based solutions.
- Ownership, high energy, self-drive.
- Tech-savvy with interest in Ecommerce/Internet business.
- Exceptional negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of Dubai and the geographic landscape.
