Job summary

Emirates Group in Dubai seeks a Manager of Safety for dnata UAE Airport Operations to lead a continuous improvement program, reduce risks to ALARP, and drive the Safety Management System across departments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years in aviation safety or heavy industry, and professional safety qualifications. You will mentor leaders, oversee risk registers, investigate incidents, and promote a strong safety culture with data-driven governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 10+ years in Medical/Safety/Ground Safety in aviation or heavy industry.
• Professional safety qualification from recognised institution (IOSH, NEBOSH, CSP, CRSP, IATA).
• Proven experience in incident investigation with root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop Safety Improvement Plans (SIP) to deploy the dSMS in the UAE.
• Provide safety guidance to leaders through Safety Action Groups and governance meetings.
• Establish and monitor safety risk mitigation, hazard identification, and incident management.
• Maintain risk registers and corrective action plans from incidents, audits, and inspections.
• Analyse safety data, trends, and reports for Safety Boards and governance.
• Ensure compliance with aviation, health and safety regulations.
• Promote dnata HSE policies and best practices across the business.
• Support OHS monitoring programs and monitor regional security risks.
• Coach leadership to strengthen safety culture and accountability.
