Job summary

KEO International invites applications for an OSH Engineer based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on maintaining the Safety Management System, advising staff and contractors, and raising on-site health and safety standards across projects.

The successful candidate will have a NEBOSH International Diploma, ISO-45001 Lead Auditor qualification, and at least 12 years of experience, preferably on building projects in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years' career experience in safety/OSH.
• Diploma or Bachelor in a relevant field.
• NEBOSH International Diploma mandatory.
• ISO-45001 Lead Auditor qualification required.
• Experience on building projects in Abu Dhabi preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce standards of safety in line with KEO’s Safety Management System and client requirements.
• Perform facility inspections and report on conditions affecting daily operations.
• Monitor and track all facility-related activities.
• Provide FM technical safety support to maintenance teams.
• Review and inspect work areas to identify potential safety hazards.
• Ensure staff wear PPE, hard hats, and protective footwear on site.
• Conduct daily project inspections to ensure compliance and suggest changes.
• Investigate accidents, determine causes, and provide prevention recommendations.
• Develop and implement safety policies to reduce accident-related costs.
• Regulate safety policies with input from managers and workers.
