Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide technical support and lead root cause analyses for rotating equipment across Oil & Gas, Power and Water sectors. You will collaborate with customers, service centers and engineering teams, review data, and recommend repairs, upgrades and field solutions.

The role requires a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, 10+ years in rotating equipment, strong CAD skills, and willingness to travel up to 40% internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• Over 10 years in the rotating equipment industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and front-end teams.
• Review inspection reports and recommend repairs or upgrades.
• Conduct root cause failure analyses with data collection and reporting.
• Perform on-site performance assessments and prepare detailed reports.
