Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Project Engineer to lead rotating equipment and gas turbine service projects from our Abu Dhabi facility. You will manage repairs, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget.

The role requires strong communication, planning and field experience with gas turbines, including vendor interactions and site work in onshore/offshore environments. PMP/APM would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a recognised technical apprenticeship.
• Formal Project Management certification (PMP or APM or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in rotating equipment MRO.
• Technical knowledge of Rolls-Royce gas turbine equipment.
• Experience in gas turbine site environments onshore and offshore.
• Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and update project plans for rotating equipment and gas turbine service projects.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Provide technical and commercial support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Translate contractual requirements into technical instructions and manage scope changes.
• Maintain ERP system with project information and generate progress and cost reports.
• Lead customer communications, post-handover activity and contract administration.
