Job summary

Job description

• Operate and monitor hot or cold rolling mill machinery to shape steel products such as bars, rods, sheets, or structural sections.
• Set up and adjust rolls, guides, and tension controls according to production requirements.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on rolling mill components.
• Monitor product dimensions, surface finish, and output quality, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, taking corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain detailed logs of machine settings, roll changes, and production output.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, housekeeping standards, and operational procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Proven experience (minimum 3 years) working in a rolling mill environment in the steel or metal industry.
• Strong knowledge of rolling processes, mill settings, and operational parameters.
• Familiarity with hot rolling / cold rolling / structural steel forming is a plus.
• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
