Job summary

Client of AIQU is looking for a seasoned Robotics Embedded System Engineer to join its R&D team in Dubai. You will architect, develop and maintain embedded software for advanced robotic platforms, ensuring robust performance and seamless sensor/actuator integration in a Linux ROS2 environment.

Responsibilities include real-time software design in C and Python, ROS2 package integration, hardware-software collaboration for sensor interfaces, and rigorous testing across unit, integration and system

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics or Computer Science (or related field).
• 4–7 years of professional embedded systems experience in robotics.
• Proficient in C and Python for real-time/high-performance apps.
• Hands-on ROS2, Linux (Ubuntu or similar), and ARM MCU knowledge.
• Strong debugging, Git, and communication skills in English.

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Robotics Embedded System Engineer to join our R amp D team in Dubai UAE You will architect develop and maintain embedded software solutions for advanced robotic platforms ensuring robust performance and seamless integration of sensors actuators and control algorithms in a Linux ROS2 environment

Responsibilities

Design and implement real-time embedded software for robotic systems using C and Python Integrate and configure ROS2 packages custom drivers and middleware on Linux-based platforms Collaborate with hardware engineers to define and test sensor interfaces communication protocols SPI I2C UART and motor controllers Develop and execute unit integration and system-level tests to validate software functionality and reliability Optimize system performance and resource utilization under real-time constraints Troubleshoot hardware-software interactions and perform field deployments and maintenance Maintain documentation perform code reviews and follow best practices in version control and software configuration management Work cross-functionally with mechanical electronics and algorithm teams to deliver turnkey robotic solutions

Required Qualifications
