Job description

Our vision is to protect customers from products that are illegal, unsafe, or non-compliant. The Compliance and Safety team for the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey Region is looking for a Risk Manager to oversee our product and food compliance policies, ensuring customer safety in the MEA region.

This role involves creating and implementing a roadmap of risk policies and controls across various functions including legal, operations, technology, and other cross-functional teams globally. The Risk Manager will own program metrics, lead risk initiatives, facilitate prioritization discussions, and report on progress.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders worldwide, including Legal, Product Safety, Policy, Operations, and Category Management teams, to align on compliance and safety strategies.
  2. Partner with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, establish timelines, manage dependencies, and ensure successful, timely execution.
  3. Lead initiatives to improve the Selling Partner experience by reducing friction through process streamlining, simplifying requirements, and enhancing communication.
  4. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the compliance and safety program, leveraging automation and data analytics to eliminate manual processes and develop scalable solutions.
  5. Define KPIs and success metrics, develop reporting mechanisms, and communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.
  6. Conduct detailed analysis of specific product safety and compliance requirements, including external regulations and internal Amazon policies, to develop data-driven compliance solutions.
  7. Develop mechanisms for continuous improvement in product safety, compliance, and customer trust.

Minimum Qualifications
