Job summary

ADIB Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a highly capable Manager - Risk Data Management to lead data capture, storage, and analysis for Credit Risk models and scorecards. The role requires strong technical and communication skills and collaboration with Risk Management and IT.

You will drive quantitative analytics, data quality, and regulatory compliance across IFRS 9 and Basel frameworks while guiding risk architecture projects and AI analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data management projects, data science, ML model development in banking/finance.
• Experience with Basel II and IFRS 9 risk models development and implementation.
• Strong coding ability and knowledge of IT systems, tools, and databases.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage risk data capture, organization, storage and analysis for development, validation and implementation of Credit Risk Models and Scorecards.
• Provide advanced quantitative analytics support to the Risk Management function.
• Formulate data collection and quality procedures ensuring adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data.
• Ensure IFRS 9 and Basel compliant risk models and scorecards are implemented.
• Engage in Risk Architecture projects including data analytics, data flows and standards.
• Develop and implement AI analytics to analyze risk data using machine learning to identify patterns and risks.
• Ensure data management and AI analytics comply with regulations and policies.
• Lead multi-task project management and coordinate with stakeholders and IT vendors.
