JOB TITLE
Senior Risk & Control Manager | MAF Global Solutions | Finance

ROLE SUMMARY
The role will be accountable for jointly leading and directing the Risk and Compliance function for Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions (GS). The GS Senior Manager will have the following main areas of accountability: (1) Governance: Ensure GS-wide Governance across all processes (Finance, HC, Procurement, Government Relations) are installed, monitored, and enforced. (2) Enterprise Risk Management: Conduct regular assessments of risk exposures and ensure appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.

ROLE PROFILE

• Governance: Ensure GS-wide governance across all processes (Finance, HC, Procurement, Government Relations) is established, monitored, and enforced. Ensure the governance structure (Board, ARC, Management Risk Committee, Compliance) is in place.
• Risk Management: Operate and enhance the Risk Management Governance model for GS, following the Group-wide approach. Conduct periodic end-to-end assessments of risk exposures, prioritize risks considering existing controls, and communicate findings with mitigation strategies.
• Business Continuity: Develop, test, and strengthen business continuity plans for GS.
• Compliance: Collaborate with Group Internal Audit to conduct regular reviews for policy compliance. Implement audit recommendations and promote ethics and compliance initiatives.
• Investigations: Perform investigations related to ethics, fraud, and compliance, coordinating with other Group departments as needed.
• Provide leadership and development for the Risk & Compliance team, ensuring clear communication and empowerment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC).
• Internal Audit experience or GRC certification preferred.
• Experience leading Risk and Compliance in large, matrix organizations or Big 4 firms.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience conducting and reporting investigations.
