Job summary

Miral Experiences in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior Maintenance Manager for Yas WaterWorld to lead and oversee all aspects of rides and attractions maintenance, including integration, commissioning, training, and ongoing improvement of the preventative maintenance program.

The role requires extensive leadership, strong analytical skills, and a background in electrical or mechanical engineering with MAXIMO CMMS experience.

Qualifications

• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background.
• AFO or equivalent certification for departmental role (YWW position).
• Must have a minimum of at least 7 years’ experience in the maintenance field and in the theme park amusement ride industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Individual must be able to work productively within a team environment.
• Computerized Maintenance Management System experience such as MAXIMO or similar software.
• University Degree or Maintenance Engineering.
• Theme Park Maintenance Training which may include any of the following: ASTM, Amusement Industry Maintenance Seminars (AIMS), National Association of Amusement Ride Safety Officials.
• AFO Instructor or equivalent standing for departmental role (YWW position).
• 15+ years’ experience in the maintenance field and in the theme park amusement ride industry.
• Previous experience in the Aquatic industry (YWW position).
• 3 years in a Management position.
• Ability to apply analytical skills to data collected within maintenance and procurement to produce maintenance and procurement strategies

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage long-term maintenance for rides and attractions.
• Integrate commissioning and training for rides and attractions.
• Maintain Preventive Maintenance program and spare parts inventory.
• Utilize MAXIMO CMMS to improve maintenance processes.
• Plan and supervise park maintenance operations and budgets.
• Ensure safety and world-class guest experience.
