Job summary

EDGE Group PJSC is seeking a Senior Engineer (C&E) – RF Signal Processing Software to lead embedded development for RF systems and data-links on ARM Cortex‑M devices. You will implement OSI PHY/L1/L2, develop drivers, and integrate protocols in Linux and MCU environments.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in embedded software, strong C/C++, Assembly, and Linux kernel experience. Proficiency with Yocto/FreeRTOS, RTOS, and mentoring junior engineers is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, communication, electronic, software engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of embedded software engineering experience.
• OS I model knowledge: PHY/L1 and L2.
• Strong ARM and Cortex‑M understanding.
• Linux driver and kernel development knowledge.
• Bare‑metal firmware for microcontrollers.
• RTOS on microcontrollers.
• I2C/UART/SPI/CAN protocols in Linux and microcontrollers.

Responsibilities

• Implement OSI: PHY/L1 and L2 radio for MCU/FPGA.
• Develop embedded software for RF systems, including signal processing for data-links.
• Write device drivers and low-level software for RF-chipsets/modules.
• Develop bare-metal firmware for ARM Cortex‑M MCUs; maintain firmware with RTOS.
• Integrate I2C/UART/SPI/CAN and ETH in Linux and MCU environments.
• Use C/C++ and Assembly for MCUs; design Board Support Packages.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards.
• Keep up with embedded tech advancements; improve RF performance (throughput/latency/power).
• Build Linux images (Yocto/FreeRTOS) and use Git/SVN.
