Job summary

Dubai Holding Entertainment seeks a Senior Executive – Retail Product Development to lead merchandising for licensed and generic products across its theme park portfolio, including MOTIONGATE Dubai and LEGOLAND Dubai.

You will collaborate with licensors, vendors and internal teams to develop ranges, manage approvals, negotiate terms, plan orders, and ensure GCC safety and IP compliance while driving sales performance.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in retail product development, procurement, inventory management, or theme park retail operations.
• Strong experience in international procurement, vendor management, product sourcing, logistics, import/export, and ERP systems.
• Proven leadership ability with strong communication, negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Commercially focused with strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking skills, including the ability to review sales, inventory, and KPI performance.
• Results-oriented and adaptable, with the ability to multitask, solve problems, manage risks, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage retail product development for licensed and generic merchandise, including product concepts, samples, prototypes, and finished goods.
• Develop commercially focused product ranges aligned with customer trends, brand guidelines, IP requirements, and theme park retail objectives.
• Liaise with licensors, IP teams, vendors, and suppliers to manage approvals, product designs, style guides, and upcoming campaign requirements.
• Negotiate with local and international vendors on product costs, tooling, development timelines, trading terms, and supplier agreements.
• Plan, monitor, and manage purchase orders, replenishment orders, stock levels, pricing, and retail margins to support sales performance.
• Analyse sales, inventory, vendor performance, customer trends, competitor offerings, and seasonal demand to support business decisions.
• Ensure all products comply with GCC safety standards, legal requirements, testing regulations, and IP agreement conditions.
• Maintain strong communication with internal teams, warehouse operations, retail teams, and external suppliers to ensure smooth product development, procurement, and inventory control.
