Job summary

Black Pearl Consult in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Resident Engineer for sewerage rehabilitation projects. You will oversee on-site execution, ensure compliance with design, standards and TAQA approvals, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires 15–20 years in sewerage or wastewater projects, deep civil engineering knowledge, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
15–20 years of relevant experience in sewerage rehabilitation projects.
Strong knowledge of construction management, quality control, and civil engineering principles.
Familiarity with TAQA approvals processes.
Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead on-site teams and achieve project objectives.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage sewerage rehabilitation projects on-site.
Ensure construction activities comply with design documents and safety standards.
Monitor progress, track timelines, and manage budget and schedule.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to resolve issues.
Conduct site inspections, quality checks and risk assessments.
Prepare progress reports, technical documentation and as-built drawings.
Ensure regulatory approvals, including TAQA, are met.
