Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Reservoir Engineer to support reservoir simulation studies, development planning and field optimization. You will work with geoscientists to build large field models, perform history matches and translate results into actionable guidelines for development strategies.

The role requires 6–8 years in reservoir engineering, experience with Eclipse/Intersect, and strong PVT/EOS modelling skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in reservoir/petroleum/chemical engineering or equivalent.
6-8 years of experience in reservoir engineering and full field simulations.
Experience with reservoir fluids, PVT modelling and EOS.
Proficiency with Eclipse/Intersect for simulation and history matching.

Responsibilities

Coordinates with geoscientists on reservoir characterization and upscaling.
Builds full-field simulation models and uses them for predictions.
Performs quality checks on models and history-matches against geology.
Characterizes reservoir fluids and EOS modelling; converts black oil models to compositional.
Designs IOR/EOR methods to enhance recovery and pressure maintenance.
Applies probabilistic and deterministic reserves estimation methods.
Identifies actions to maximize recovery and meet production quotas.
Conducts field development optimization studies (well pacing, infill wells).
Integrates pressure and production data for simulation and decisions.
