Position: Senior Reporter B2B Division

Division: B2B This division of BNC Publishing produces and manages B2B publications in both digital and print and hosts various industry-focused conferences and award ceremonies.
Job Purpose: We are looking for a passionate, eager, energetic, and well-organized professional with a business-creative mindset to create, develop and curate ideas and write original content for BNC Publishing's B2B titles (print and digital). The ideal candidate should be a very eager learner about B2B news (design, construction, and logistics sectors) and should always keep themselves updated about the latest news, trends, events, and happenings in those sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong copy-editing and copy-writing skills
- The ability to enhance the publication's brand through creating world-class and original content
- The ability and confidence to secure interviews with key business decision-makers
- Conducting interviews (in person, through video calls, and email), transcribing and writing stories to generate a very high readership and engagement
- Very strong time management skills and meeting deadlines
- Managing and curating conferences
- Moderating panel discussions
- Having a publishing mindset to enhance the publication's brand positioning through working closely with the commercial, marketing, and events teams
- Effectively communicating with internal departments including creative, commercial, research, and other stakeholders to pitch and deliver media projects
- Managing expectations of management and clients for project timeline delivery
- Control quality of website content, including ensuring that all elements are up-to-date
- Assist with setting timelines and scoping out media projects
Knowledge/Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in a media house (publishing, TV, digital), PR agency, or a PR department at a firm
- An understanding of video content and suitable content for social media platforms
- Great understanding of communications/media industry from an editorial point of view
- Very digitally savvy and familiar with the latest digital media and business media platforms
- Understanding of the media landscape in the region
- World-class writing skills
