Job summary

Zero Labs in United Arab Emirates (Remote) seeks a Senior Cross Platform Rendering Specialist to optimize rendering performance across platforms and hardware. You will develop and improve rendering solutions, troubleshoot platform-specific graphics issues, and collaborate with engineering to deliver smooth, consistent user experiences.

The role requires 5–8 years in graphics programming, strong knowledge of rendering pipelines, and proficiency in C++, C#, Rust, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in CS, software engineering, graphics, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of graphics programming or cross‑platform software development.
• Strong understanding of rendering pipelines, frame timing, and performance optimization.
• Experience with major graphics APIs (OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX, Metal) and cross‑platform engines.
• Proficiency in C++, C#, Rust, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with GPU profiling, shader optimization, and memory management.
• Good communication and collaboration in distributed remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize rendering systems across platforms and devices.
• Ensure consistent visuals, layout, and performance across OSes, browsers, and hardware.
• Investigate rendering defects, frame drops, artifacts, and compatibility issues.
• Optimize rendering pipelines, frame timing, resource management, and GPU utilization.
• Work with graphics APIs, engines, and frameworks to improve quality and performance.
• Analyze CPU/GPU bottlenecks using profiling tools.
• Collaborate with UI engineers, graphics programmers, designers and QA.
• Develop automated rendering tests and visual regression checks.
• Evaluate cross‑platform graphics tech and recommend strategies.
• Document rendering standards, benchmarks, and technical solutions.
