Job summary

The Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking a professional to work closely with Relationship Managers of Public Sector to enhance business with Government Entities. The ideal candidate will assist in developing new products adhering to the Bank’s growth objectives.

Applicants should possess a degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, or Business Management, along with 3-4 years of banking experience in the Public Sector. Strong computer literacy is a must.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline preferably Economics or Finance or Business Management.
• 3-4 years’ experience in banking with exposure to Public Sector.
• Computer literate.

Job Purpose

Closely work with Relationship Managers of Public Sector to develop and expand the Bank’s business from existing Government Entities customers and from new relationships in order to meet Bank’s growth objectives.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist Senior Team members with development and implementation of new Government Entities products.
• Process new applications, renewals, excess and isolated requests for new and existing customers in coordination with Relationship Managers. Liaise with other departments regarding customer transactions.
• Liaison with Government Entities for their day-to-day banking requirements.
• Maintain good relationships with key potential Government Entities clients. Assist Senior Team members to develop these into successful, ongoing business relationships to establish a basis for potential business.
• Deal with routine Government Entities’ queries through internal and external communication and provide appropriate answers or support to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Monitor the progress of Public Sector and ensure quick action in case of any adverse development.
• Develop competitor awareness to liability the extent to which the Bank’s products and services are competitive and to provide suitable feedback to Senior Team members.
• Take active interest to build skills and develop competencies to hold higher responsibilities.
