Job summary

McCain Middle East FZE is seeking a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist for the MENA region. You will ensure regulatory compliance for product composition, labeling and marketing claims, embedding ME requirements into specifications and finished goods.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to mitigate regulatory risks and support both day-to-day operations and long-term strategies. The role involves acting as the regulatory subject-matter expert across the region, driving compliant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum 6 years regulatory affairs experience in food manufacturing or government.
• Strong knowledge of Middle East regulations for composition, labeling and claims.
• Experience with regulatory risk assessments and approvals.
• Experience liaising with authorities and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Interpret ME regulations and translate to clear business guidance.
• Ensure product formulas, labeling and claims meet regulatory requirements.
• Support launches across the region, especially import-driven supply.
• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing and Procurement to enable compliant innovations.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on business impact.
• Engage with authorities and trade associations; manage crises as needed.
• Partner with global teams to align standards and share best practices.
