Salt is seeking a talented UI Engineer (React) to join our high-performing team building modern, scalable web apps. You will work closely with product, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality digital products.

Role focuses on building reusable UI components, implementing accessible, responsive designs, and collaborating across teams to improve frontend architecture and standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial experience building React.js applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or shadcn/ui.
• Solid understanding of responsive design with Flexbox and CSS Grid.
• WCAG 2.1 accessibility knowledge and semantic HTML.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling async data.
• State management with Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API.
• Familiar with Git, code reviews, and Agile/Scrum workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web apps using React.js.
• Build reusable UI components with modern frontend tech.
• Integrate frontend with RESTful APIs and manage async data flows.
• Collaborate with UX designers to deliver polished experiences.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, coding standards, and CI/CD.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to troubleshoot issues.
