Job summary

Ampstek in Dubai is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to develop enterprise-grade, responsive web applications across desktop, tablet and mobile. You will work with modern UI engineering practices and component-based interfaces.

You will integrate front-end apps with RESTful APIs and microservices, modernize legacy systems, implement authentication (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, SSO), and adhere to OWASP security standards. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience developing enterprise-grade, responsive web applications for desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, responsive design and modern UI engineering practices.
• Experience building reusable, component-based user interfaces and implementing modern front-end architecture patterns.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs and microservices-based backend systems.
• Experience modernizing legacy web applications into modern technology stacks with minimal business disruption.
• Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT and Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Strong understanding of secure software development practices and OWASP security principles.
• Experience using Git, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines and automated build and deployment processes.
• Experience writing unit, integration and end-to-end tests using modern testing frameworks.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across the full application stack.
• Familiarity with relational databases and service-based integration with Oracle and MariaDB.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and collaborating effectively with Product Owners, Architects, QA and DevOps engineers.
• Exposure to AI-assisted software development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or similar) to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, clean code, design patterns and maintainable application architecture.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
