Job summary

Sener is seeking a Senior Manager – Systems Engineering to lead the systems engineering on a major rail program in Saudi Arabia. The role requires extensive experience in rail and metro systems, multidisciplinary integration, and strong leadership to coordinate across clients, operators, and suppliers.

Ideal candidates will have 20 years of engineering experience, including 15+ years in Rail & Metro, with a Bachelor's in a related field and proven ability to drive requirements management,

Qualifications

• 20 years of overall professional engineering experience, with at least 15 years in Rail & Metro.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience leading systems engineering on major railway/metro projects.
• Strong knowledge of requirements management, systems integration, verification, and risk management.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary railway systems and interfaces.
• Familiarity with railway standards and engineering compliance.
• Excellent English communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering strategies, processes, and deliverables across the project lifecycle.
• Oversee requirements management, traceability, and alignment with design/operations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary railway systems engineering and design integration.
• Manage systems assurance activities, reviews, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with clients, operators, contractors, consultants, and suppliers on technical matters.
• Monitor risks, design changes, and integration challenges.
• Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams.
