Job summary

Emirates is seeking a radiology professional to perform routine and specialized radiographic examinations, using DR/CR, and to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging for patients and dependents.

You will document procedures in PACS/EMR, apply ALARA, and comply with DHA/FANR guidelines. The role requires BLS, UAE licensure, and experience with X-ray and ultrasound, with ongoing CPD participation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Radiology Technology or Medical Imaging.
• Valid licensure/registration (e.g., DHA, HAAD, MOH in UAE or ARRT, HCPC, etc.).
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized radiographic examinations using DR/CR, verify patient identity, position patients and provide instructions.
• Evaluate diagnostic images for clarity, contrast and artifacts to meet quality standards.
• Document imaging procedures and upload results to PACS and EMR per DHA protocols.
• Apply ALARA principle and use protective gear for patients and staff.
• Comply with DHA and FANR radiation protection guidelines and participate in dose monitoring.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and perform quality checks on imaging equipment.
• Report faults or hazards to appropriate personnel and collaborate with radiologists and physicians.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain sterile imaging environment.
• Stay current with radiologic advancements and CPD requirements.
