Job summary

Confidential is seeking a skilled Radiographer to join its Diagnostic Imaging team. You will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, operate X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and Mobile X-ray equipment, and uphold radiation safety and patient care standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Medical Imaging, a DOH license or eligibility for Abu Dhabi licensing, and 2–5 years of hospital imaging experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Medical Imaging, Radiography or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Valid Radiographer license or eligibility for Abu Dhabi (DOH) licensing.
• 2–5 years of hospital or diagnostic imaging experience.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, radiation safety and patient positioning.
• Experience with digital radiography and PACS/RIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures per physician requests and protocols.
• Operate radiology equipment including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Mobile X-ray and other modalities.
• Ensure high image quality while maintaining radiation safety standards.
• Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging procedures.
• Verify patient ID and examination requirements before procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in HIS/PACS.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely imaging services.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions; participate in quality control.

A leading private healthcare group is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiographer to join its Diagnostic Imaging team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations while ensuring exceptional patient care, radiation safety, and compliance with clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician requests and departmental protocols.
• Operate radiology equipment including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Mobile X-ray, and other imaging modalities as required.
• Ensure optimal image quality while adhering to radiation protection and safety standards.
• Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging procedures.
• Verify patient identification and examination requirements before conducting procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation within the hospital information systems.
• Collaborate with Radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic services.
• Monitor and report equipment malfunctions, ensuring proper maintenance and quality control procedures are followed.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and accreditation initiatives.
• Provide compassionate care and clear instructions to patients throughout the imaging process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Medical Imaging, Radiography, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Valid Radiographer license or eligibility for healthcare authority licensing in Abu Dhabi (DOH).
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, radiation safety, and patient positioning.
• Experience working with digital radiography and PACS/RIS systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining professional standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-specialty hospital setting.
• Cross-training or experience in CT, MRI, Mammography, or Interventional Radiology is an advantage.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
