Job summary

New Royal Medical and Dental Center in Ras al-Khaimah seeks a Radiographer to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging and support physicians in accurate diagnosis while adhering to safety standards in a multicultural healthcare setting.

You will work full-time, operate X-ray, ultrasound, CT or MRI per specialization, ensure infection control, maintain records in RIS/PACS, and collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging Technology.
• Active UAE license or MOHAP eligibility mandatory.
• 2–3 years of continuous clinical radiography experience, hospital/medical center preferred.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to perform X-rays and other scans accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and position patients safely, explain procedures, and address anxiety with cultural sensitivity.
• Adhere to ALARA radiation safety principles and use shielding and proper exposure factors.
• Evaluate images for quality and correct labeling before radiologist review.
• Maintain accurate patient records in RIS/PACS and document imaging data.
• Perform routine equipment calibration and report malfunctions; support radiology team for urgent cases.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians and nursing staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely reporting.
