Job summary

AECOM in Al Ain, UAE, seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to deliver cost management and quantity surveying across a diverse project portfolio. You will manage cost plans, BoQs, procurements and contract administration, guiding client relationships and project teams for value and compliance.

Leading teams, applying UAE standards and BIM experience, you will mentor junior staff and contribute to project strategies across healthcare, education and infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• RICS or equivalent membership, or working toward membership.
• Experience with JCT and NEC contracts; cost planning and Bills of Quantities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive cost management and quantity surveying services from inception through completion.
• Prepare, manage, and analyze cost estimates, cost plans, and detailed financial reports.
• Produce and review Bills of Quantities per industry standards.
• Support procurement with tender documentation, evaluations, and strategic advice.
• Manage project budgets, monitor cost performance, identify optimization opportunities.
• Undertake valuations, manage variations, and negotiate final accounts.
• Administer JCT and NEC contracts and ensure compliance.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders; provide clear communication.
• Mentor junior team members and promote continuous learning.
• Analyze data to drive informed cost decisions and innovations.
• Assess and mitigate cost and commercial project risks.
