Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Contract and Commercial management of the assigned section of the project, ensuring compliance with all Corporate Policies and Procedures.
- Drafting of Contract Correspondence for both Client and Supply Chain, maintaining detailed records and files.
- Draft, review, and advise on contractual letters, notices, and communications to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Ensure proper preparation and submission of all applications for payment on time.
- Draft and review variation/change orders in line with contractual procedures, supporting the approval process with proper documentation and justifications.
- Prepare and/or review variation submissions and new rate proposals, assessing cost, scope, and time implications for fair contract adjustments.
- Manage and update cost management, payment, variation, claims, insurance, and bonds logs regularly.
- Prepare Monthly Management Reports (VOWD, Subcontractor Liabilities, Accruals, Cost Forecasting, Cost to Completion, and Risk Management).
- Provide commercial and contractual support to Procurement & Operations Departments, ensuring subcontracts and supply orders contain necessary provisions to protect the company's interests.
- Review, verify, and process payment applications from subcontractors, ensuring alignment with contract terms and project progress.
- Collaborate with the team to assess and respond to Supply Chain Variations, EOT, disruptions, and other commercial claims.
- Manage the team by setting priorities, managing performance, and providing feedback and coaching.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with staff, clients, and subcontractor representatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the Middle East as a Project Lead.
- Previous experience in large-scale infrastructure projects related to the position.
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related fields.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent numerical and analytical abilities; expertise with CESMM, FIDIC, and other standards.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and relevant Quantity Surveying software.
