Job summary

Phoenician Technical Services in Dubai seeks an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead and coordinate the QS team on landscape, infrastructure and large-scale projects. You will oversee cost reporting, budgets and final accounts, and contribute to commercial strategy.

The role requires 8–12 years in QS roles, UAE/GCC experience, strong knowledge of contracts and procurement, and leadership experience. Immediate joining for full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• RICS qualification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction and landscape commercial practices.
• Good knowledge of contracts and commercial administration.
• 8–12 years of relevant QS/Commercial experience.
• 3–5 years in managerial or senior QS role.
• Experience in landscape, infrastructure, external works or construction projects preferred.
• UAE/GCC experience desirable.
• Experience in large-scale landscape projects, villas, hotels, or infrastructure projects advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate QS staff, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Provide technical and commercial guidance and training.
• Oversee monthly cost reports, cash-flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete assessments.
• Manage variation, claims, payments, subcontractor payments, and final accounts.
• Review procurement costs, commercial rates, subcontractor terms, and supplier agreements.
• Review budgets, cost forecasts, and commercial performance.
• Recommend variation values, cost-saving measures, and commercial strategies.
• Participate in contract negotiations and commercial reviews.
• Monitor commercial risks and escalate significant issues to senior management.
• Establish standardized QS procedures, templates, and reporting systems.
