Phoenician Technical Services in Dubai seeks an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead and coordinate the QS team on landscape, infrastructure and large-scale projects. You will oversee cost reporting, budgets and final accounts, and contribute to commercial strategy.

The role requires 8–12 years in QS roles, UAE/GCC experience, strong knowledge of contracts and procurement, and leadership experience. Immediate joining for full-time on-site position.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• RICS qualification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction and landscape commercial practices.
• Good knowledge of contracts and commercial administration.
• 8–12 years of relevant QS/Commercial experience.
• 3–5 years in managerial or senior QS role.
• Experience in landscape, infrastructure, external works or construction projects preferred.
• UAE/GCC experience desirable.
• Experience in large-scale landscape projects, villas, hotels, or infrastructure projects advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate Quantity Surveyors and Junior QS staff, ensuring accuracy and quality of deliverables.
• Provide technical and commercial guidance, training, and development to the QS team.
• Oversee monthly commercial reports, project cost reports, cash-flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete assessments.
• Manage variation and claims registers, payment applications, subcontractor payments, and final accounts.
• Review procurement costs, commercial rates, subcontractor terms, and supplier agreements.
• Review project budgets, cost forecasts, and commercial performance.
• Recommend variation and claim values, cost-saving measures, and commercial strategies.
• Participate in contract negotiations and commercial reviews.
• Monitor commercial risks and opportunities, escalating significant issues to senior management.
• Establish standardized QS procedures, templates, and reporting systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• Professional qualifications such as RICS is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of construction and landscape commercial practices
• Good knowledge of construction contracts and commercial administration
• Minimum 8-12 years of relevant Quantity Surveying / Commercial experience
• Minimum 3-5 years in a managerial or senior QS position
• Experience in landscape, infrastructure, external works or construction projects is strongly preferred
• UAE / GCC experience is highly desirable
• Experience in large-scale landscape projects, villas, hotels, commercial developments, parks or infrastructure projects is an advantage
