Job summary

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for Commercial Contracts in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on quantity surveying, commercial management, contract administration, cost control, claims, variations, and payment certification across major roads and infrastructure projects.

The candidate will oversee commercial governance, review measurements and payment applications, manage change orders, and maintain clear contractual correspondence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• MRICS membership is required.
• 15+ years of relevant experience including major roads/infrastructure project exposure.
• Knowledge of CESMM, FIDIC, and other contractual/measurement standards.
• Experience reviewing BOQs, valuations, change orders, and contractor submissions.

Responsibilities

• Manage contractual and commercial correspondence through project execution.
• Review cost reports, variation registers, payment logs, and claims records.
• Coordinate with clients on commercial, contractual, and valuation matters.
• Review interim/final measurements and payment certificates.
• Support cost planning, forecasting, and cost-control activities.
• Provide guidance on measurement methodologies and valuation principles.
• Prepare and review tender documents and commercial tender reports.
• Assess variations and new rate submissions; review and approve change orders.
