Latinem is seeking a Quality Engineer to plan, implement, and maintain QA/QC activities across manufacturing. You will drive continuous improvement, root cause analyses, and supplier quality initiatives to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements.

The role requires 6–10 years in manufacturing quality, experience with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949, and hands-on use of PFMEA, control plans, SPC, MSA, and related tools. Strong cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline.
• 6–10 years of progressive experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001; IATF 16949 or AS9100 experience preferred depending on industry.
• Proficient in core quality tools: PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, PPAP/APQP, 8D, Root Cause Analysis.
• Hands-on experience with inspection equipment and reading engineering drawings/GD&T.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality plans, control plans, and inspection procedures for new and existing products/processes.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) for quality issues using 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone.
• Prepare PFMEA, Control Plans, and process capability studies; conduct inspections and review non-conformances.
• Monitor supplier quality, conduct supplier audits, and support PPAP/APQP submissions.
• Drive internal audits against ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 or equivalent; analyze quality KPIs and present improvement actions.
• Lead Six Sigma / Lean / Kaizen initiatives to reduce variation, waste, and cost of poor quality.
